What are your office hours?

Our practice is open M-F 8:30am to 5:00pm. We are available 24/7 for emergency services. Our retail store, on Downhill Plaza, is open M-F 8:30am to 5:00pm. The store is closed daily from 1:00pm to 2:00pm for lunch. Phones remain active during this time.

How many veterinarians do you have in your practice?

We are proud to have three wonderful veterinarians on our team. Dr. Louise Batt, Dr. Taylor Karlin, and Dr. Sarah Barr pride themselves on providing the best possible care for their patients in the Yampa Valley and beyond. Check out our Meet the Team page to learn more.

What kind of services does your practice offer?

We are a full service large animal veterinary practice. In addition to our top-notch preventative care and 24/7 emergency services, we offer an array of advanced diagnostics and treatment methods including advanced equine dentistry, lameness, sports medicine, and rehabilitation. Do you offer any alternative therapies?

Do you have a clinic that I can trailer my horse to for appointments?

Yes! We are proud to offer our haul-in services at a convenient location just north of the US-40 and CO-129 intersection in Steamboat Springs. Our facility provides a serene setting complete with examination stocks, a spacious fear-free examination area, as well as pens and holding stalls.
